Family Story: Seth and Rebel, NO H8

Regardless of where you stand on any hot button issue, I would hope that you and I can agree that we need more love and less hate in this world.  Hard to disagree with that!  Seth contacted me about doing a special shoot with his sister Rebel.  They wanted to do a NO H8 shoot - I was honored to put that together!  The NO H8 campaign is a "photographic silent protest" in response to the passage of proposition 8 in California.  The concept has grown to protest similar legislation across the country and even around the world.  The duct tape symbolizes people's voices being silenced on the issue and the face painting explains what they fighting for.  It was powerful to be a part of this shoot with Seth and Rebel-- thanks guys for asking me!  It was an honor!* This shoot was NOT hosted in the name of the NO H8 campaign to raise money for any group.  This was not an official NO H8 event.
