Commercial Story: The Cupcake Shoppe
We've had a heavy week around here so I thought what better to lighten things up with desserts. I LOVE dessert. So much. Naturally this means that I would enjoy photographing dessert. Ever since our Raleigh Story shoot with The Cupcake Shoppe, we have struck up a friendship with the owner Sara and her fabulous and super kind staff. These are wonderful people locally baking you all kinds of delicious treats. Can't beat that. You will also see that they are believers in carrying other local products such as Larry's Beans Coffee (also a Raleigh Story Project feature of ours). It's a good thing I did this shoot in the morning when I'm not really ready to eat sweets, otherwise I would have insisted a taste test everything too. Just incase. Sara did send us home with one of those chocolate ice-cream sandwiches with the sprinkles (you'll know them when you see them in this post) and let me tell you, I did not want it to end. Or have to share it with David. But that's what we do with our favorite people, right? Sacrifice and share our pre-lunch, homemade ice cream sandwich with them. The Cupcake Shoppe is known for their cupcakes (they've got yummy gluten free too!), but sometime you should try their other desserts. They've got several kinds of cookies, brownies, granola, various breads, whoopee pies, rice krispie treats, homemade marshmallows, and other new things they are currently trying out in the kitchen (also featured below). It's a long list of deliciousness you can't pass up. You must stop by and get a treat next time you are cruising down Glenwood South in Raleigh… and tell them you saw them on Story Photographer's blog!
