Anniversary Story: The Gaiters
I got an email from the Gaiter's daughter-in-law asking if I could do a shoot for their 50th anniversary-- this was a first for me! As I started thinking about what image I associated with such a long, strong relationship, I thought about a large tree. This tree has deep roots so when the storms beat down and the winds blow in from the side, the tree might sway a bit but it stands strong. The tree is rooted in friendship, love, hard work, patience, time together, and more!
During the shoot I witnessed their strong roots- the love especially.
It was so fun to celebrate that with such a sweet couple!
The Gaiter's daughter-in-law, Ebony, and her husband have relocated their event planning business since they have moved to NC. Ebony envisioned a vintage shoot, and she did a beautiful job pulling all the details together for this shoot.
This is the poem that Mr. Gaiter read to Mrs. Gaiter at the party that their children threw for them to celebrate their anniversary.
