Engagement Story: Marie and Daniel

After a few days in Washington, DC for these two shoots, David and I returned home for three days, after which I hopped on a plane and head to NYC for an engagement shoot!  The weather was threatening to complicate our shoot with rain and cold temperatures, but in the end we found a window of a couple of hours where the clouds parted and some sunshine broke through :)Marie is a faithful blog-stalker and has been SO excited about her blog debut!  There will be more to come from Marie with her bridal shoot and wedding in 2012.  Though it was crazy at times with the subway during Friday rush hour, I really had the best time shooting in the city with these two.  We had tons of lovely assistants-- Summer, Leah, Chris and Joel-- who made sure all our stuff was taken care of, the correct subways were taken and they even checked in with us to make sure we needed anything.  We've got good people!!

The shoot started out around the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory (yummy dessert AND a yummy view of the city and the bridges close by) when the sun snuck out from behind the clouds for us.

A must have shot for Marie- the kiss in front of a moving subway :)

Next we headed to the Battery Park area...

My lovely assistant Joel grabbed some point&shoot images of me at work in NYC... here are a couple...

Marie and Daniel: What a day together!!  I am so glad everything worked out for us to get outside in the city together :)  I am even MORE excited about our future shoots together!!!!  I can't wait to get you two in front of the camera again...
