Family Story: The Kennedy/Eckert Family

One of my favorite parts of my job is getting to capture our family and friends.  Ashley was one of my best friends in high school - we had many other Ashleys in our world but I have to say that she was my favorite.  She is one of those people who is just genuinely SUCH a good friend to others.  Ashley has such a huge heart and beautiful spirit... I love any time I get to spend with her.  Sadly as adults we have not gotten to spend much time together, but I am thrilled to hear that she and her family are back in NC.  I loved getting to meet her sweet daughter Kennedy and to get to hug her hubby and her parents (from which she inherited her kind heart and care for others).  I met up with Ashley, Andrew, Kennedy and three of Kennedy's grandparents at Emerald Isle, NC early one rainy, windy morning.  We ignored the weather and made it work!

Kennedy saved all her best smiles for the family dog.  Had we known this we would have recruited the dog earlier on in the session.
