Family Story: Langham/Boggs Family

Oh this shoot.  OH this shoot. :)  Lindsey and I went to high school together.  She went to Florida for college, met Michael.  They got married, moved to Texas and had a GORGEOUS baby girl- Natalie!  Now their sweet family has moved back to Raleigh and I was thrilled to get to photograph Lindsey's entire family all together.There were a couple of crazy factors for this shoot that Lindsey has given me permission to laugh about with you all.  We had this date set forever, after some other attempts got rained out.  The weather was supposed to be fine... we are a few minutes into the shoot and the sky turns DARK.  Like, super scary dark clouds.  The wind whipped up and was all spooky.  And then.  And then Natalie decided that a photoshoot was not on her agenda for the day.  For those that know Lindsey, this sounds crazy!  Lindsey has so many precious pictures of Natalie just cheesing it up!  Like most children her age (turning two in a few months) she was not a big fan of being held down in the group shots.  At one point she did bring me her toy basket and tried to kiss me on the cheek... I think she was trying to say "Hey, I like you and all, but I am not down with this whole photoshoot thing.  Not today."
