Commercial Story: Layers of Dignity

We tagged along with Layers of Dignity as they delivered their totes to WakeMed in Raleigh. If you're unfamiliar with the work that Layers of Dignity does, they provide tote bags to local emergency departments and crisis centers that treat victims of sexual assault.Each tote contains an outfit, underwear, sandals, toiletries, a handwritten note, and resources on how to take care of themselves during a traumatic time in their lives.Why the tote? Layers of Dignity says, "When leaving the facility, it is common for survivors to be given paper clothing to wear. Paper.
